Day 3 Detroit and off to Chicago

Boo and me an our coffee.  

Did a run with Rebecca and then breakfast at this wonderful place near her house, the Fly-Trap (?).  That's me in the mirror.  Tiger fans were there, the morning after, still optimistic before game 5.

Then off to the airport with Jo, Boo and Iris.  After saying good-bye to Omar of course.

Jo and Boo at the airport.   that's my stuff.  the bad bag is next to them.  I'm leaving it in Chicago!

No line at the airport either at the ticket counter or security.  Nice.  The plane was only slightly delayed.  My bags arrived safely but the one bag handle wouldn't open again.  When I reached the Sheraton, I went right to Eddie Bauer and bought a new one.  Instead of replacing my Cole Haan shoes though I did do some window shopping there.

Going running in the AM so off to bed.  

Detroit highlights--Boo, Jo, Iris, Omar, Ferndale, Middle Eastern take-out, breakfast, Italian dinner, just hanging out, "The Beautiful Things That Heaven Bears" by Dinaw Mengestu, two nice runs, Midwestern fall.  

Chicago highlights today--old friends at the meeting, the view, more about Ethiopia.
